Anne Frank House: Quote Anne Frank 1 August 1944 #shorts

On 1 August 1944, Anne Frank wrote the last entry in her diary. 'I'm afraid that people who know me as I usually am will discover I have another side, a better and finer side.' She writes that there are two sides to her: one that is lighthearted and cheerful, and one that is much deeper. She doesn't show that side to other people, in fear of being mocked or not being taken seriously. Can you relate to Anne? Follow Anne Frank and discover her story. Photo sheets of all four members of the family have survived. This is the portrait sheet of 13-year-old Margot from 1939. Several photos were cut out of the sheet, one of which can be found in the photo album that Anne compiled while they were in hiding. #margotfrank Follow Anne Frank and discover her story.
